WDIFL.com, Billy Robins and Jack Harris Painting and Autobody proudly recognize the elite few who have broken the 260 MPH barrier in front engine Top Fuel dragsters.

Since the first “250” was run by Jim Murphy way back in 1998 there have been many more of those run. But the "260" mark - not so much. Only seven drivers have done it and only one, Jack Harris, has done it consistently. Harris also holds the honor of the fastest run ever - 265.09.

As new drivers join this club (first 16) they will not get huge trophies or fancy jackets. What they get is a hat few can wear and a certificate to commemorate the accomplishment. Most of all they will have the personal satisfaction of DOING IT.

 

Prior to the first round of eliminations at the 37th Boise Nightfire Nationals, six of the elite seven members of the Top Fuel 260 MPH Club were recognized.
