because of the eclectic nature of the class--reminds me of the
way the sport used to be in the 1960s.

I like this close up of Jim Murphy
because it captured some of the intensity and concentration needed
to drive a top fuel dragster; note that jim has moved his head
to the left side of the cage to see around the engine.
Got to love those drivers like
Dave Gruzen who go the extra step to put on a show for the fans.
And, the image shows that Dave is really having fun participating
in this sport.
